Since we found out we were expecting a girl, I knew I wanted to keep the room somewhat neutral in case we have a boy in the future we can just swap out the pink for another color. I knew I wanted grey to be our base color, and from there we added pops of pink, gold and white. Since the dresser, crib and walls are all grey, I wanted to add something to "pop" so the crib didn't just blend in to the wall. I included an "M" monogram in the middle of the flowers that I purchased from Michaels I bought a pink bin from Home Goods to use as her laundry basket, and stored in next to her dresser under her bookshelf for a cute added pop of pink to the room.
My father-in-law coached travel ball baseball, my husband played his entire life through college and is currently coaching High School varsity baseball, and my brother-in-law plays professional baseball. I didn't quite know what I was getting myself into, but I am loving every minute of it. So much that I started looking up Baby baseball related items-- Mostly so our sweet girl can be decked out in her baseball gear when we go to games. Here are some shops that I found to have some CUTE baby baseball items.
It would be a chore to wake a sleeping baby overtime you wanted to take her out of her carseat to her stroller, then back out of the stroller to her carseat. I honestly didn't think I would need this as the hospital provides a pretty great "sucker" for suctioning baby snot, until our little girl became congested. We called the Hospital and told them my contractions were between 8-10 minutes (normally they have you come in when they are between 3-5). She was wondering why they had me come in since I was only having contractions evert 8-10 minutes, but I guess the lady on the phone had it marked that I was measuring 3-5 minutes. Throughout that day my husband called the hospital 5 times to see if we should come in, because my contractions were closer together and I was in terrible pain, but they told us to stay home. When we got there, it felt like the longest wait in the waiting room and the check in lady didn't seem to care or check us in right away.
