If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been obsessed with the department store Jeffrey and this infatuation grew stronger when they opened their first Bay Area store in Palo Alto. I feel that Gucci just gets my style (think cool girl mixed with street style mixed with unique but also still feminine with a bit of edge) and when I spotted this insane Gucci skirt I panicked because I knew that this skirt would be perfect for Paris but luckily, my Jeffrey Palo Alto family (hi Margaret! ) came to the rescue with alterations! What is it about animal print that makes me feel like I can strut down the street and take over the world? In one word, animal print makes me feel CONFIDENT. Since I haven’t been as confident in myself lately, I have been leaning on animal print items in my wardrobe so I can “fake it ’til I make it. There is something about wearing a piece that already evokes sensuality and confidence that just makes me feel…good.

It should come as no surprise that I love plaid sooooo when I saw this Veronica Beard look at NYFW back in September, I fell head over heels IN LOVE. The pale pink is perfect for spring and that just means I can now wear plaid right through spring and maybe even into the summer. If you look closely, there’s even stripes of neon throughout both the pants and the blazer that make it even more on trend for 2019 (neon is everywhere).
