Unschooling Update 👩🏼‍🏫 Chloe (K) is slowly but surely starting to read. She’s recognizing sight words and has been writing almost everything she can think of for a while now. She truly is blooming in this unschooler environment. She struggles with doing the same thing for too long and gets very frustrated and has to try again tomorrow if she gets too discouraged. Athena (preK) is starting to attempt to write letters with not much luck (unless she’s tracing) but has a huge vocabulary (thanks to Chloe) and loves to count. These flash cares from @thinktankscholar are so helpful. They range from preK-3rd grade which is great for our schooling method because we don’t stick to “one grade” we just work together as a group and move forward when that child is ready. *Gifted

My minimalist mamas (& moms to be) this is for you! Finally a baby book that is gender neutral, but also not covered in cartoons and animals (not saying those aren’t cute) just not ideal for my decor. When I had Chloe (my first born) I did what everyone does. I got the cute girly baby book.. and guess what. I NEVER used it. 😆 the truth is I didn’t enjoy seeing it, it never had a home. So it got put up and never thought about again. I really enjoy scrapbooking but it has been out on the back burner. So I plan on transforming this baby book into a collage of all three kids durning that age. ABUNDANCE: In a spiritual context, the notion of abundance or plenty is less about material conditions, revolving instead (once basic needs are met), around an appreciation of life in its fullness, joy and strength of mind, body and soul.
