My origin story would start as a 4 year old Vietnamese child being implanted into North Louisiana. It wasn’t cool being Asian in a podunk country town but, I did what I could. 32 years later, I have learned how to fix things, build things, teach yoga, own a beauty brand and salon from scratch, promote anything but myself directly, but most importantly humility through hard work. I’ve learned that empathy and relatability will capture more attention than even the shiniest of objects. The difference between cheap trinkets and priceless treasures. I’ve learned that we are all trying our best, with what we have in our arsenal at the time. I can be a girl who turns heads when I walk into a room but would rather be the girl that can maintain the attention.
