Pretend you didn’t see the red water… Okay besides that, they turned out pretty well and I didn’t need to buy and fancy hat washing tools. Some suggestions from what I learned: ▪️cold water always! ▪️hand washing seemed to get out more stains ▪️reshape immediately after washing ▪️keep colors separated just in case 😉 ▪️make sure to rinse well, those suds are stubborn
This isn’t a traditional toy rotation, and here’s why… All of these toys are fair game at any time, but they are stored away in bins that are not transparent and cabinets mom and dad still have to open for a reason. First of all, we try to keep a limited amount of toys so our toddler can ask for what he wants, or we can pull down certain toys he hasn’t used in a while. Secondly, giving him access to all his toys at once ends up being overwhelming for all of us, results in a HUGE mess, and less engaged play with each toy. Do you rotate your kids toys, do they have access to everything, or a combo?
Now is the time! We are about half way to the holiday season so it’s time to make the perfect gift for your friends and family! It’s such an easy gift that people will actually use! Simply slice open your vanilla beans so the inside is exposed, add to your glass container, top with vodka (or experiment with other flavors like rum or tequila), and wait! The longer it sits the better it gets. Tie a little gift tag on the bottle with when it will be ready for use. 6 months should give it a nice full body flavor! 1/4 Americans can’t fit their car in their garage… Is this you? While I understand the garage can be add a great deal of space to a home for storage, too often it becomes an unusable dumping ground. This is our first home so we haven’t accumulated too much stuff, and we intend to keep it that way! Even though we don’t store a ton in our garage (except our 1 million strollers 😅), we wanted to make the space functional for our items.! If you’ve followed me for a while you might remember our house flooded Christmas of 2022 and water ran straight through our garage! We pulled in after spending time with family to basically a waterfall in the garage 😭! We finally have the ceiling and wall fixed and decided we might as well add a little extra storage while we were at it. We got our cabinets installed and then it was time to organize! I learned so many lessons after organizing a nursery the first time around. Owen is officially transitioned to his new room, which frees up the nursery and means I can get things prepped early this time! (Don’t remind me of the saga with Owen and not getting us furniture delivered until after he was born 🤪) This time one of the top drawers is dedicated to all of the essentials like diapers, wipes, and burp cloths for easy changes and restocks.
Let the nesting begin! I never really took the time to fully organize my milk storage cabinet with our first, and with number two on the way, I figured it was time! Finally got our new fridge organized this weekend and couldn’t be happier! New YouTube video comes out Wednesday with the whole process that was surprisingly simple and quick! O was able to reuse some systems from my old fridge but also got a few new things to take advantage of the depth and size of the new one.
