I like to take the time every week to find a quote or a poem or something I can read every day to meditate on, usually it’s focused on something I’m already thinking about. I often use other colors of ink to mark things I need to “remember” but aren’t things that need to be checked off or marked with a bullet. I look at the previous week or other spreads I may have going regarding certain projects and I spread out my “square” bullet items so that no one day seems too overwhelming. I like to prove you don't have to be a hand-lettering pro, or an artist to keep a bullet journal!
I offer these printables for FREE so if you find an error, email me (bulletjournajoy@gmail.com) and let me know KINDLY PLEASE. And if you like them and want to send me some love? As always you can download one month at a time or the entire year. Portrait Style – Monday Start myself!
His office has these great old cinder block walls and great lighting, not to mention the fact that his profession makes him a creative photographer, so I asked if I could borrow his office and his photography skills to help me commemorate completing my 20th bullet journal. About 70% of the pages in these things are calendar pages and to-do lists…not the most excited thing to look back on. But peppered in between those pages are photos of family event and drawings from my kids and notes of gratitude and training programs and ticket stubs and school event programs. Parenting is still full of challenges (not with E, obviously, he’s fully cooked now and I’m very proud of how he turned out even though he had to parent himself mostly because I was in college his first few years of life
Just tried something simple and fun this week – some circle days to give me more “free space” throughout the week for miscellaneous notes and to-dos which don’t necessarily belong on a particular day. I’m not sure I love this exact execution (not a fan of the split circle weekend) but I’m definitely liking the concept!
