Some people say you should just start by cleaning up a little at a time, but the problem with that is that you don’t get the positive reinforcement of a clean space right away. Use focus tools like checking email at only noon and 4pm, putting your phone on airplane mode, turning off all the noises, vibrations, etc on your phone during working hours. But take that some 7 year old and shine a flashlight directly into their eyes for 30 or 45 minutes before you send them to bed.
