I have absolutely no idea how I got selected to receive BoxyCharm PR, but I thought that this was a great opportunity for me to try out this service and give my own opinion of the products and service. I will definitely give my honest opinion (as always) because, honestly, I do not care if I continue to get PR in the future because, if you've followed me for a while, you know that I generally buy products I am interested in and pay regular consumer price and have no problem doing so because I am very good at watching the sales. I have been eyeing BoxyCharm, Ipsy, and Allure Beauty Box for the past few years, trying to get a feel for which one would be best for my personal interests (more interested in skincare and like natural/non-glam makeup). I haven't used it enough to give a review about whether my skin looks more radiant or smoother or any of that, but my skin does definitely feel hydrated after I finish rinsing it off.

All the remaining items were chosen for me by FabFitFun's "algorithm": 4) Touch in SOL No Poreblem Primer ($16 value) Honestly, I would have been happy with half of the products in this option, so I was fine going ahead. I mean I cannot speak for people who have darker skin tones, but I noticed in the spoilers (my full spoiler video is here) that I think the colors may not be great for people of darker complexion (I'm thinking specifically of that Laura Geller eyeshadow palette and the blush). I'm happy to have backups of each and will definitely use them, I just am a little surprised that I got 2 repeats because I thought they'd realize I've had only one box in the past Meredith value: $7 (I'd normally say I'd pay full price, but I saw a printed Makeup Eraser brand cloth at TJ Maxx for the reduced price.

So, I was kind of concerned that maybe the breakout was due to the Estee Lauder ANP since I used it to determine baseline, but the left side of my face was clear, so maybe something else was going on. Overall my skin is seeming to be smoother and my overall dull skin is starting to look a little less dull, maybe slightly brighter and maybe also seeing a little bit of difference in the discolored remnants of a breakout from college in my chin. I was not able to see much of a difference myself knowing that I had applied La Mer on the right and Estee Lauder on the left. Honestly, I am curious to know what she would think of the La Mer product since she tried the Estee Lauder product.
