But be aware that the vast majority of pre-owned wedding dresses, based on our 21 years of selling experience of pre-owned wedding dresses, do not get resold. If you want the satisfaction of giving your beautiful wedding dress a second life with a less affluent bride-to-be then donating to a wedding dress-based charity is best. 501(c)3 charity has been funding their charity mission by reselling pre-owned wedding dresses at very affordable prices. Brides Against Breast Cancer accepts dresses that are up to two years old or up to 4 years old if a classic “couture” wedding dress.
Today, October is recognized as the month used to bring awareness to the disease, and raise funds for research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to honor brides who for one reason or another aren’t able to get the dress of their dreams. We hope that through this giveaway brides-to-be will share our passion for funding breast cancer research, education, and advocacy by participating in their local breast cancer community and spreading the word about what we do and the work of our charity partners: Living Beyond Breast Cancer and The Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition.
