Faux fiddle leaf trees, plants, branches, etc. have become HUGE in the home decor world, and while I love the lush look of the faux fiddle leaf tree, I wanted to bring the style into my home via a smaller plant. I think using a big, lush faux fiddle leaf branch to create a semi-oversized plant is a great way to bring in some greenery for those smaller spaces in your home. I know my Dollar Tree has a ton of faux greenery options right now, so while you’re picking up dry foam, Spanish moss and river rocks from there, definitely check out their faux greenery options. I truly love it, and today I’m sharing coffee table decor ideas in partnership with Southern Enterprises. I had a round coffee table for about three years, and before that we had a giant ottoman as a coffee table, so this new one is truly the first time I’ve had a more traditionally shaped coffee table to decorate. There’s a few tricks and tips that I turn to time and time again when it comes to coffee table decor. If you’d like to enter to win the gorgeous acrylic end table for your home, you’ll want to head over to my Instagram, find the post with the picture of my coffee table and leave a comment to enter the giveaway!
There’s a few of you who have been waiting for the DIY artificial orchid arrangement tutorial, and I apologize for the delay in getting it published. My chinoiserie loving heart really loves the blue and white potted artificial orchid arrangements sold online, but oh my word they can be hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I instantly knew this was my chance to make a DIY artificial orchid arrangement that was beefy, beautiful and did not cost hundreds of dollars. As always, I’m going to walk you step-by-step through the process of making a DIY artificial orchid arrangement.
It is with deep, deep, deep sadness that I come to you with the news that I had to take down the black and gold chinoiserie accent wall in our master bedroom. I’m trying to embrace the fresh slate we have and focus on dreaming up a new master bedroom accent wall (sans wallpaper). Like all of life’s great ideas, my grand idea to use this small marble desk as a nightstand came to me while sitting on the couch looking for black and marble nightstands. And as much as I love our white walls, I kind of do want some color/pattern on the wall, so I could do moldings WITH wallpaper.
