Depending on what kind of pictures you’re having done, or if you’re Photographer has a vision all there own… I’ve found having movement in a photo makes for a unique, relaxed and more personal shot. A lot of times for me, if I feel like I’m getting awkward in photos or just don’t know what to do, having a prop or something I cant interact with will make me feel a little more at ease. If you happen to be a blogger like me or just like taking better pictures for your Instagram game, then it helps to have a message or a story behind the photo. For example; if you and your significant other were having trouble conceiving and now you’re pregnant and so happy to be having your maternity shoot… let that shine through.

National History Museums are great to visit for multiple reasons; fun for the whole family, amazing things on display and of course the gift shop (or maybe that’s just me)…but most importantly, they offer a little something for everyone at a reasonable price. After a little bit of research, I found one near by me, surprisingly, they also offered $5 entries for everyone after 5pm on Wednesday…and what did you know, it was a Wednesday! ! ! Normal prices are as follow: The Museum has 5 floors of amazing exhibits, everything from dinosaurs, to native American heritage, all the way to the solar system… other events at the museum Not only does the museum offer amazing things on display, but in addition, its also a place to get involved with your community and meet fellow history lovers.

Whether your snapping pics with your camera phone or digital cameral, no matter the quality, bad lighting can ruin a picture. A super easy tip if your taking pics when the sun is really harsh and getting into your lens, is to simply cover your lens, whether it be with your hand or a cover.
