These orange tubers are full of nutrients and make everything seem to taste better, like our Easy Sweet Potato Breakfast Hash and Creamy Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Fresh Thyme. My Friend Linda of Life on Summer Hill planned a beautiful nursing graduation party for her daughter and asked if there was a recipe for shredded sweet potatoes on our site that she could use as a side dish. The only recipe I could think of was our potato pancake recipe, which did require to have cheesecloth on hand to drain completely. If you are wondering how to get the moisture out of potatoes for hash browns, be sure to read our Potato Pancake post as we share the secret!
If you are looking for the best things to do on weekend visit to Pittsburgh, then you have found the right post! We recently went back for a weekend visit to Pittsburgh, PA and to catch a ballgame and visit family. Pittsburgh has a few nicknames such as “The Steel City”, “City of Bridges” or “Three Rivers” but they all point to a town that offers way more than anyone can squeeze into just one weekend! this is another must-visit area to have on your weekend visit to Pittsburgh.
Our easy Chocolate Chip Dessert Cheese Ball Recipe will be a great treat to serve for your next gathering. You dig that little knife right in and spread it all over your cracker and secretly do a little happy dance because it is so darn good! I decided to serve with little bunny graham crackers, but you can certainly use regular graham crackers and make Chocolate Chip Dessert Cheese Ball for any family barbeque or potluck dinner. Right before serving, unwrap ball and roll in chopped nuts (great for adults) or in mini chocolate chips (great for kids or adults!)
Not to stop big chunks of time, but to allow the little moments in the every day, a chance to suspend just long enough to be absorbed fully and completely. Finding friendships and navigating through the “terrible teens.” Learning the art of defensive driving and the moment in life when you begin to realize you think you know everything, and you actually know nothing. I’m not ready to give up our everyday conversations of how the day went or simply sharing our thoughts, nor am I ready to give up the constant arguments about things that won’t matter next week, because I know the quiet that is about to come will drive me crazier. I am so grateful I have moments to look back and reminisce of young childhood days, but I can honestly say, I am really looking forward to our new chapter and all the new memories to come.
