Mass-produced, over-advertised products and unexpected results 🌸⁣ ⁣ I have to be honest, I am not a fan of hyped up products that are "good" for you... I am always cautious about those...⁣ ⁣ So, when I recieved my complimentary Tatcha #voxbox from @influenster and @tatcha I didn't know what to expect. BUT I love everything about Japan and this company and their products are Japanese-inspired, so I got ready to test it out.⁣ ⁣ I have to say the packaging is cute and luxurious. By the way, I am going to talk about Tatcha Indigo Overnight Repair Cream 💫⁣ ⁣ The cream is infused with Japanese Indigo Extract, Ceramides and Mondo Grass Root. Tatcha promises that this cream strengthens skin barrier + hydrates, balances the microbiome, visibly calms irritation. (Info taken from Tatcha.com).⁣ ⁣ The texture of the cream is somewhere in between ligh and heavy, which is nice, but it takes time to get absorbed by the skin. So, I would recommend applying it way before going to bed, so it doesn't end up being wiped on your pillowcase 🤷🏼‍♀️⁣ ⁣ After the very first night spent with the cream on, my face looked super plumped and moisturized.⁣ ⁣ It felt almost like an overnight mask, which kept my skin hydrated, despite the fact that I didn't apply a thick layer. Personally, I don't like this feeling, but if you have super dry skin (mine is combination skin) that should be good for you.⁣ ⁣ Do I think it is worth the money?⁣ ⁣ No, it is a bit overpriced to be honest.
