We love nothing more than getting submissions from fantastic photographers who have the ability to capture the love in a couples eyes. Christen from Everleigh Photography is on of them and this engagement sesh totally got us weak in the knees. They both attended University of Kentucky, so we started the shoot on their campus (with Katie in the perfect BLUE dress to represent! ) We then went to Keeneland for sunset photos, which is another place that is special to them as a couple.
A few years after college, I started travel nursing and took a 3 month (or so it was supposed to be) assignment in Atlanta, GA where Chase had been living since finishing college. Chase chose a suit he was comfortable in and I chose a dress I would love to steal/borrow from my sister (maid-of-honor) after the wedding. I felt like I was putting people out asking for help but our friends and family told us time and time again how much they actually enjoyed being included that way. The Bluegrass wedding weekend began with the rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents at the Woodford Reserve Distillery, where guests were treated to a special tour of the distillery including the stills, barrel warehouse and bottling lines. Our wedding invitations were Print at home gold champagne bubble invites that were customized by the bride and her mother with navy envelopes lined with Pink and gold chevron fine paper from PaperSource for a modern look with dramatic impact. Bohemian, Beautiful & Bold are three adjectives that we would use to describe this stunner from Claire & Barrett Photography. Todays WRK Feature Bride, Sierra, is hands down one of the most beautiful brides we’ve ever seen and the joy on her face is indescribable. The florals were stunning and bold but far from over the top and the reception room was by the book perfect. We are thrilled to share these incredible images with you and have a feeling that the pinning is going to be out of control! !
