It’s been a little over 3 months since Elzaan and I hopped on a Turkish Airlines plane headed for a week in Istanbul. We’re not sure if it’s the friendliness of the people, the food or the culture, but we’re pretty sure it’s a combination of all three, so I’m gonna do my best to give you a little taste of each. Today’s kids don’t want to learn the songs of their parents, or their parent’s parents let alone the antiquated instruments. We were lucky enough to be guests of Turkish Airlines on our trip to Istanbul where we had the privilege of flying business class on the 11 hour trip from Cape Town.

Are you a classic Jeans and T-Shirt kinda guy, or do you mix it up a little, crossing the lines between dressing up and dressing down? In the meantime, here’s a couple of ideas: Mix up your day to day Tee style by throwing in something formal. And just in case you do find yourself on the red carpet pair it with some shiny black lace-ups and a pocket square for good measure. Keep it nautical by going with a bold navy striped tee and pair it up with some simple leather sneakers – billionaires never wear formal shoes on their yachts.

However, sunglasses have definitely joined the world of fast fashion, so investing in a couple pairs of ‘on trend’ shades isn’t always the best idea. You don’t want to wear the same glasses every day, but you don’t want to risk bankruptcy every time a new style comes out either. But then I thought about the above, the sunglasses I had lost, or broken, or even worse, the new styles I hadn’t bought because of the price and the WearMe Pro mission started making sense In terms of quality, they’re not the best sunglasses I’ve ever owned, but they’re certainly not the worst – in fact, I’ve paid far more for far less, to be honest.
