It all began back in January 2017: Wendy’s started displaying its new attitude on Twitter when responding to a user who did not believe that Wendy’s only uses “never frozen beef”(Wendy’s popular slogan is “fresh never frozen beef”).
Higher-level employees at Wendy’s sometimes stop tweets that are on their way out the door that the they feel to be crossing a fine line, and other times they will inform the social media team when there was a tweet of which they were not particularly fond.
