New Do, New Me!!! For years after cutting my dreadlocks, I felt like my royal coils were just a problem. My crown was hidden and in my heart I struggled with identity. Then when I added my children to the equation, I lost myself even more. I lost self-care and self-love. When my daughter looked up at me while washing my hair, I looked back at her and thought to myself; how can I teach her to love who she is when mommy is struggling with loving who she is and who she is becoming.  I want her to be strong and to know she is beautiful in every way. New do, New me...I got motivated to get up, and get moving... I made appointment to get my hair done and thank goodness they had an opening today. My baby allowed me to see the true beauty.
