Why You Should Visit Italy For Your Next Vacation

It seems like Italy frequently makes its way to everyone’s bucket list whether via Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Florence or a number of other famous destinations in the small country. This fun article is meant to show you why you should visit Italy if you haven’t already done so and if you have, then we’d love to hear if we missed any awesome reasons for vacationing in this beautiful country. While Italy can’t compare with Eastern Europe’s cheap prices or the ultra low prices of Asia, it remains relatively inexpensive compared to most European countries, especially ones that are super popular. Renting a car in Italy is simple and assuming you don’t plan to drive in big cities like Milan or Rome, driving throughout the country is easy to do.

Beautiful Flower Fields Around the World

To see the fields in their full glory, it’s best to travel at the end of autumn (between September and early December), when the annual buckwheat flower festival takes place in Ha Giang. Located a short drive from the city of Taichung, the Zhongshe Flower market is known for its beautiful gardens and colourful flower arrangements. The flowers are usually visible between early March-May with the peak viewing times between mid-March to mid-April. There are three great places to visit sakura in Japan: Shinjuku Gyo-en is widely considered to be the best place in Tokyo to see the cherry blossoms, with about 1,500 cherry trees.

10 Day Italy Itinerary: Northern Italy & Southern Italy

If you choose to visit for two weeks instead, you can add extra days to the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Naples or Venice and/or add 3 days in Sardinia. Start your 10 days in Italy with one of the major cities as they are cheaper to fly into (Rome, Florence or Venice but most likely Rome). You could easily spend 4 days between the two as there are many small towns in Tuscany that are worth visiting (ex: San Gimignano or Siena) but since a 10 day Italy itinerary doesn’t allow much time in each location, you’ll have to enjoy an abbreviated version. That sums up three amazing Italian itineraries; there are so many other cities and villages in Italy that you can visit that aren’t covered here but these itineraries are a great place to start in your love quest with Italy.

Spring Travel Sneakers with Zappos x Dansko

So after enjoying the most amazing burgers at Wharf Hill, we took Athos and headed to Overlook Beach for some spring fun. Prior to the trip I had ordered a fun pair of travel sneakers for spring from Zappos. This time I picked out a fun pair of Dansko canvas sneakers. If you’re not into travel sneakers like I am (I take sneakers with me on every trip), then Dansko has plenty of other options for you to choose from so be sure to browse through their items!
