I had an amazing time this past weekend in my home town. I got to meet, photograph, and fit over 20 dancers in R-Class pointe shoes at @dancebizlex (the store where I got my first pair of pointe shoes). The full circle moments of the past year have been just unreal! Thank you for welcoming me and I hope we can do it again! What a blast! This image might be one of my favorites ever. It’s not what I typically share it’s a favorite because it captures the magic that I have always felt from the first moment I was that baby ballerina on stage. Those that know my story know how I credit dance with saving my life; while not every moment has been magical, dance has been the piece of me I have never been able to quit. I’m so blessed to have found ways to combine everything from my dance training and professional dancing days to now capture memories as well as build an iconic brand of pointe shoes. Some days are hard, but just seeing this magic on stage refuels and reinvigorates my soul.
