Why Life is to be Lived, Not Controlled

Life is complex, and it is always going to be changing, educating, and directing you to different places, people, things (plural nouns let’s just say lol). Some of us have an idealized plan where we see ourselves in 5, 10, 15 years from now, satisfying and meeting our life goals. Has anyone heard their elders say: “A happy life means to accept that life doesn’t go according to plan. For those who feel as if their life doesn’t go your way, or that the universe or people are against you, then you need to listen to this.

7 Reasons Why Mountains Make Me Feel Alive

Climbing physical mountains helps climb over figurative ones: There’s no greater feeling than climbing a mountain and making it to the top. The mountains show that there are much bigger things in life, let alone an escape, or relief from facing cultural issues all the time, and the mountains open minds’ up to a greater perspective. The mountains’ fresh air reduces asthma attacks, and it has been proven that pine reduces stress, and depression. Whether people are snowboarding, hiking, snowshoeing, horseback riding, whatever.. The mountains encourage people to experience what the mountain valleys have to offer.

Let’s get real about how overseas traveling makes you real

You don’t know how to speak a foreign language well (or maybe you do), and you’re in a flying piece of metal over the ocean, for hours, and hours, and did I mention hours? The little things don’t matter: France had this old-world atmosphere and style where people appreciated the simple things and the beauty all around them. When I did get the chance to access social media, I would notice posts about people bitching about the smallest things, as well as portray themselves as materialistic people. The organization that planned my trip had an international video contest where students could publish a piece about the educational experience they had from an abroad trip.

Testimony: Shooting with Mitchell and Jacob

Jenna did an amazing job photographing headshots for my business profile. As a person who is far from photogenic, Jenna made the process fun, enjoyable, and brought out the best in myself in the pictures. Never have I hired a photographer and enjoyed the experience until my first shoot with Jenna. Her professionalism is evident from the get go yet her personality made me feel completely at ease.
