BILS (Built in Lagos State) is an AfroHiphop/Afrobeat artist, songwriter and producer born in Lagos, Nigeria. At the age of 12, BILS found his love for entertainment, influenced by Fela Kuti, Tupac, Mystikal and Kanye West. At 16, he began writing his own music and creating his own beats. He then moved to the United States to further his education. He has been nominated four times for the Nigerian Entertainment Award, performed at huge festivals like SXSW , opened up for most of the top African musical acts. Bils is currently unsigned and independent but making waves across the United and states and all over Africa. His previously released EP Mans on the move peaked number 1 on the iTunes us world charts and had over half a million streams in about 2 months. Bils has created his own sound and lane and is ready for world domination.
