My name is Rin Simmons and I am a travel brand influencer that operates under the name, The PTO Nomad, LLC. The PTO Nomad was created to gather like-minded individuals that have a passion for travel, creativity, and culture while holding positions in current-day corporate America. My vision is to encourage others to explore the world and dispel the notion that one must wait until retirement to see it. As an influencer, I aim to provide creative and strategic ways to plan trips and utilize vacation time or PTO (Paid time off).
you finally get to airport security and they tell you those dreaded annoying words, SHOES OFF AND IN THE BIN, even worse you have on shoes with no socks! Shower Caps– let’s be honest, those flimsy, thin shower caps they provide in hotel rooms are not for Queens or Kings with thick hair. Lights– great for beach trips at night or if the power goes out in hurricane or electrical-outage prone countries. Ear Plugs– for the crying baby on a plane, even if it’s your crying baby on a plane, and for the loud snorer.
Events like election day are one of the most stress-ridden days we encounter in America right alongside Black Friday. With all that being said, it is so important that you implement some self-care and preservation to make sure that tomorrow doesn’t intervene with your mental health and wellness. I know we all want to see what is going on, but try limiting your checkpoints to maybe once per hour or even better when polls close at 7 pm. Thus I have no one else to mute like this, but I know there are some extremely mature people that like to keep those with radically opposing views on their timeline to keep a pulse on the opposite political world.
Buying luggage separately can get expensive, Amazon has many stylish and durable sets that will fit all of your packing needs, sometimes for under $100! Not only will these babies keep your confidential information safe, but some give you extra room for IDs, copies of IDs, and your boarding pass. Grab an inflatable, microfiber or memory foam neck pillow to prevent the snoring head nod from taking over your row. GoPros take some amazing footage of our travels but honestly they can be kind of expensive ($400+ for a Hero 7).
As I sit and listen to the rain outside my window, I feel disconnected, like I am living outside my body watching this world steal black lives for its pleasure. I wonder if they discuss their kill count over drinks or joke about how they are above all law of this land. An identity built in ruining families and injecting generational dysfunction and fear, killing our family trees from the root to the leaf. I feel tightness in my chest, but it’s nothing compared to the tightness of suffocation or the searing, burning pain of bullets riddling my body as our fallen brother and sisters have experienced.
