Wow God is so good! My goal for this first meet back post surgery was to challenge myself to see pre through and let the spirit guide me through. This prep was not easy but wow did I grow so much. From not being able to walk let alone squat, to hip pains and other health issues…finishing 9/9 and earning best lifter means so much to me. My go-to breakfast whether I’m headed into work or working from home is a protein-packed smoothie. Here are three of my favorite easy high protein and low-cost smoothie recipes as well as variations to add an extra boost to your smoothie. Now for the recipes… • 1 1/2 cup coconut milk (can use any milk desired) • 1 1/2 cup of vanilla soy milk (can use other milk) • 1 cup frozen berry blend (tip: add more or less of one fruit to adjust flavor) • 1 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk (can use any milk desired) Add the ingredients above to your blender or smoothie maker. Chia seeds, flax seeds, and coconut shavings are great add-ins or toppings to a smoothie or smoothie bowl.
Recently I reviewed Calluna Labs CBD Restorative Gold Elixir and it has quickly become one of my favorite facial oils to use especially when my skin needs that extra boost of restoration.
