HOW YOU GON' EXPECT FROM ME WHAT YOU DON'T EVEN EXPECT FROM YOU? 🤔 ... I've always found it interesting, particularly being in leadership positions for close to 30 years how often people expected, better yet, demanded perfection... ... I couldn't be late, forget to do something, have an off day or even an off moment, and each person's need was an emergency... at least to them...and was the only need that mattered...at least to them. 🤷🏾 ... if I had a dollar for every time someone not in my position, told me what I could've done, should do or need to do... I'd be rich right now. ... or here's an example: we expect our favorite sports team to win every time. We expect ge QB to complete every pass, and the WR to catch every pass thrown their way, and so on... ... the truth is, you're sitting on the couch watching and they're on the field in real time. ANOTHER ONE☝🏽🎂 People often ask me what am I doing for my birthday, and the answer is always the same... Let me wake up first and we'll take it from there. So here I am again, blessed to wake up to see another year, and I can't help but stop to think about many of my friends and family that I grew up with who didn't make it this far, and I can't help but to be grateful... It just shows me that I'm not done yet. I get another day, a new year to try to have a positive impact on someone's life, and a little bit longer to walk in my God-given purpose. 🙏🏽 Through all the ups and downs, trials and triumphs of the last 50 years of my life, I gotta say I'm blessed. I won't complain about the things that didn't work out or the people who walked away. It was all a part of the plan that made me who I am and brought me to this point.... I didn't always know what I was doing, but thank God that He did, because there were plenty of times when I had nothing to my name but faith to walk on... And I'm still making it on grace, mercy and faith today. I thank God and I thank all of you, those that I've met, and those that have continued to support, you ALL make what I do worth it.
