I believe, just like menswear clothing, we need a rainbow of footwear colors to give enough options! Ok, “rainbow” is probably too exaggerate to put, but you get my point! And this is why when I came across Colorsty, I felt the problem had been solved.

Quarantine has kickstarted many lifestyle microtrends: Zoom, Dalgona Coffee, Animal Crossing, Tie Dye, to name a few… With the country starting to reopen and lift some travel restrictions, a quarantine-approved staycation or socially distant getaway are becoming new trends of the scenery. And, the summer escape calls for a pair of solid sandals!

The Monument Valley was not in my plan, due to the 10 hour long drive (20 hour round trip drive is too long for a 3-day vacay), but there are two things motivated me and eventually made this trip happened: I had this post card from another travel-holic, and I am really obsessed with the red dust and its enchanting color changing in the golden hours. And if you are a fan of that movie like me, you know the spot where Forrest Gump ended his cross-country run and said “ That filming spot became today’s “Forrest Gump Point”, which is 16 miles away from the Monument Valley.

From the glittering skyscrapers to the sweeping sand dunes, this multi-cultural metropolis is as awe-worthy as ever. However, as it has so many magnificent experiences to offer and every traveler has so much to talk about Dubai, I kind of had a hard time to write the blog: I don’t know where to start. Couple days ago, when Disney released the movie Aladdin, I finally decided to make a blog about my Arabian trip in Dubai Instead of blogging an Encyclopedia of Dubai, I decided to give myself an easy time, and only review the places that I’ve visited meanwhile photogenic (for your Instagram or whatever social media).
