Pen-Y-Fan by Horseshoe trail. . I have to admit I’ve been struggling with post lockdown life recently. When something like this happens, I know it’s time for good old hike 😃 . That day was about chasing summits (actually 4 of them) and regaining confidence. . Our goal was to summit all four peaks in that part of beautiful Brecon Beacons national park. . The minute I putted my feet on the hill, I was buzzing. We started at 8am so it was quite freezing but refreshing. Sun was dazzling from the first minute and that day we got really high dose of vitamin D 🩺 . After we’ve done all the peaks including the highest Pen-Y-Fan I had to admit AGAIN how positive is hiking not only for my physical health (I had felt those glutes for 5 days 🍑) but also for my mental well-being. Finally made it! Snowdon by Crib Goch. It is quite exposed scramble and you have to be extremely causes. We had fog and really wet weather so it was extra hard, especially mentally. But that feeling at the end. Adrenaline pumping through my blood stream and feeling that I can do everything in the world. . That’s the reason why I support hiking and scrambling as really great activity for better mental health. . 📍Cala Llamp - one of the most beautiful beaches on Mallorca for us. Even though I lost half of my tooth here and my husband had small unpleasant encounter with jellyfish, snorkelling experience was amazing. Ogwen valley was starting point of our hike. Our aim was summit the Tryfan in #snowdonianationalpark Weather was extreme so we just hiked up to 700m above sea level and then we decided to go back as weather was getting worse every minute. I must admit I was little bit disappointed but I always remember that mountain will be always there but same doesn’t apply to me and my life. And after coming back to the car I was happy anyway as there was lots of adrenaline flowing in my bloodstream. I just love to being out in extreme condition. It helps me to be here and now 💙 . Taking a break after hiking all day in #dartmoornationalpark . If you like diverse landscape, Dartmoor is definitely place to go. Moors, Hills, Rivers, Tors, fairytale forests... you will be amazed how beautiful this place really is ❤️🥾🌳🌲 . It’s also great place fir star gazing thanks to low light pollution. Snake Woodland in Peak District reminds me a forest I used to go in during my childhood almost every day. It reminded me how tightly connected I was with nature and how I disconnected with nature during last few years. .
