One thing before I forget, I made a bookshop.com page that is going to have listed all of the books I mention here, books I’m reading, and books I want to read. As I’m watching, I’ve had three main thoughts: how horrified I am that Harry and Meghan have had to go through this, how terrible it is that we have turned their pain into entertainment, and how incredible Oprah is at interviewing. Sleeping Mask: Even if I didn’t wear a lot of lipstick, I would still use this because I get super chapped lips. I love liquid eyeliner and I am always trying different brands because I am not committed to any single liquid eyeliner brand.
This week’s true crime Tuesday is less factual documentary and more intriguing crime fiction. If you are a thriller/ cop book lover, you have to check out Tana French. n’t feel satisfied, but at the same time, I couldn’t put it down and I would probably read it again! Check back next Tuesday for more true crime and you can always see what true crime I am reading on my bookshop account!
If you are a fan of Politico Playbook or any quick overview of the news that is still very informative, you will love this. The three creators left Politico after many years to start PunchBowl and between their daily morning podcast and the newsletters throughout the day, they have everything I just recently picked up this Charles Manson biography, Manson: the Life and Times of Charles Manson by Jeff Guinn. Truthfully, I did not watch it and I normally don’t care too much for award shows, especially when there is a distinct lack of diversity and some shows I really enjoyed were snubbed.
My best friend and I started this tradition almost two years ago where we would hang out for an afternoon, order dinner, and watch true crime shows or documentaries. maybe, if you guys like this, we can do tv shows and/or movies and/or podcasts in the future! I have listened and watched both and last month finally got around to reading the book by the journalist who discovered and broke this news. I don’t want to say too much if you aren’t award of this, but trust me, learning about Elizabeth Holmes and her crazy story is worth every minute you spend.
