I post about my everyday lifestyle as a college student, a black girl, and 20 something. I enjoy talking to my community about my fashion choices, where I shop, and my beauty and skin routine. I've steadily been growing my community with an increase from last year of 7%. My community is made up almost evenly of males and females between 18-34. They mostly located in Illinois, Georgia, and New York. I'm new to becoming an influencer so although I haven't worked with many brands I have gotten my start with BenxTil and am starting a campaign soon with Revlon.

I cannot do all the good that the world needs. But the world needs all the good that I can do. I went to a PEACEFUL candlelight vigil last night which turned into a PEACEFUL march. I highlight the word PEACEFUL but I know many will try to overlook it. Last night I surprised many, including myself by leading a PEACEFUL march, including those from all races, coming together for a common unified goal. I would have not been able to lead without leaders to look up to. I would not have had the courage to do what I did alone. I did not even have the courage to post on my own social platforms as a black woman but a prominent role model of mine megan.milan showed me that is was possible, and it was okay. My entire life, I’ve seen more and more people of color go through things so unimaginable just because of their skin tone and was never allowed to speak out against it because I was just a kid. I am 22 years old, so you may still see me as a kid and that’s fine. Just know that this “kid” believes that respect is earn and second chances can be given. But we’re no longer on the second chance, this is chance 96 since 2014. So, today, I would like to ask each of you to join me in doing all of the good we can do. Thank you ✊🏾
Be patient with yourself. Don’t shrink yourself for someone else’s comfort. Do not become small for someone who refuses to grow. You have to learn to get up from the table when love is no longer being served. Just because you don’t know your destination, doesn’t mean you should stop moving forward.
Every time I maneuvered in reverse to entertain an expired connection my ego benefited but my spirit and growth suffered. Trust your process. Trust that what’s coming is far more beautiful than whatever you’re leaving behind.
For what it’s worth: It’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you meet people with a different point of view.
