I write for two travel blogs where I create itineraries and find some of best places to explore throughout the US.
I am currently financially preparing for a van conversion to get out on the road full time but until then, weekend getaways and the occasional road trip feed the beast.
When I go on a trip I always take the time to do my homework for the very best experience possible.
Whether it be tasting some of the best local eats or scoring a lightly trafficked trail with a view… Every trip is an adventure and I wouldnt want it any other way.

I’ll be driving to AZ in exactly two weeks and I can’t freaking wait 🤪 🚗 Once I get there I will be traveling for about 15 days around Sedona, Flagstaff, GCNP, and then heading over to Cali for Joshua Tree, San Diego, and Anaheim. 🧳 Since the trip is super last minute and there are so many beautiful places to see, I have been scrambling to put an itinerary together. 🌟 Recommendations are welcome & much needed!
I love when trails lead up to scenic viewpoints but I love it even more when they have additional touches like this adorable gazebo 🥰 ✨ This is easily one of my favorite hikes in the Lake George area (so far) because it offers a variety of views in under 4 miles round trip. ✨ Within less than a mile you reach this beautiful gazebo with wide sweeping views of Lake George and some of its many islands. ✨ It is the perfect place to catch your breath before continuing on your travels to a cascading waterfall deep within the forest. ✨ Aside from the killer views, the trail is almost never crowded and most times (I come here a lot) I have the entire place to myself. ✨ It also happens to be just 10 mins from my house! If you could be one place right now, where would it be? 💭 I am currently daydreaming about being atop a mountain while I work on my writing 🌟 Hoping it gives me the motivation to write faster so I can get outside and explore someplace new. 💚 I hope everyone has a wonderfully productive (or unproductive if that’s what you need today) day!
What do you look for when planning your next hike? 🏔 I personally am obsessed with climbing mountains. There is just something about standing atop a mountain that is so empowering to me. The satisfaction of making it to the top and the sweeping views that make you feel so small yet so alive. 🛶 My second favorite kind of hike is anything that features a large body of water. I love admiring the calmness of the water and how it mirrors the trees around it. I could sit for hours just taking it all in. 🍃 But at the end of the day, I enjoy exploring all kinds of trails. Just being away from the craziness of every day life and listening to the sounds of nature around me is my kind of therapy. Whenever I step foot on a trial it’s like all my troubles wash away even for just a little bit. I started planning my next trip back to Shenandoah National Park before I even left 🗓 I was shocked by how quickly I fell in love with the area and mad at myself for not visiting sooner! 😍 It was the last stop on our national park road trip and for some odd reason I thought we could knock out all the popular sights in one day 😅 Long story short, after 10 days of hiking we were feeling pretty exhausted, so we only got to do one real hike in the park... but man was it a smoke show 🔥 I could have spent the entire day sitting atop the rocks of Bearfence Mountain taking in the different views in every direction 😩 ...Also totally ripped my leggings scrambling down the rocks but it was 100% worth it 😂 I can’t wait to explore even more of what this breathtaking park has to offer!! ❤️ What is your favorite hike in Shenandoah National Park? #nationalpark #roadtrip #goexplore #getoutside #shenandoahnationalpark #shenandoah #virginia #nps #travelgram #travelblogger #travelmore #traveldeeper #adventure #adventureawaits #writeyouradventure
