you’ll need today: Suede lace, lobster clasp and a few colored beads with large openings grab your lobster clasp and feed one side of the suede through. Then grab your first bead and feed both pieces of the suede through the hole and then pull your bead all the way to the top. If on the other hand you find that macrame isn’t quite for you, but you still love the look, pop over to my Etsy shop and find the same completed project you see here! If you’re working with a thick yarn use 2-3 strands and for a thin yarn use 3-4 strands, but play with this design! If you choose to do braids, cut an extra, short strand from the same skein of yarn and use it to tie your braid. I try to find the most natural length of where the end of the braids and knots hang and trim along that line.
But I’ve started a list of things I want to get done before it’s time to start shoving everything in boxes. So I’ve started tasks that when the time is right, we will just have to go through basic cleaning tasks. It’s this little lemon’s birthday tomorrow! 🍋 I think I enjoy her birthdays as much, if not more than she does. And I love celebrating how far we have come as a family. She was the surprise baby - the one who taught me how to be a mother. She fast-tracked us and changed our perspectives. As much as we made her - she made us. And I could not be more happy to be her mom. Get ready for some throw back pics tomorrow!
Our newest project! We bought a bike for $5. Now to paint and add a basket! I’m hoping to have it done by her birthday in a few days. I started working on it today and the Rust-oleum spray paint failed me. Either it was a fluke bottle or the matte paint/primer is too thick and clogs the spray nozzle. Oh well! Now to figure out where to go from here.
The kids and I glittered up some cards to send out. They say when you need something, you give it. So we’re sending a little joy and happiness to some close friends and family. On a side note, we’re going to find glitter everywhere for a while ✨😝. Have you sent any cards or notes to friends and family during quarantine?
Tried a hair piece out today.. 🌶 I can’t wait until my hair is long again! The second pic is them getting in the mix every. single. time. I’m so glad I can share the fun dress-up things I get to do everyday. But also give Mama a break!! 😅 How’s your quarantine going? Are you ready to get back to normal life?
