While Lincoln City, Oregon is a popular tourist spot it’s also a city with many miles of beach, separated into several different beaches with wide expanses that allow visitors to enjoy the waves and surf while staying far from each other. The Lincoln City Outlets were largely open with protocols setting limits to how many people were allowed in a store at one time and masks are required. If you can find condo’s or townhomes that are out of the city limits or between Lincoln City and Depoe Bay our between Newport and Depoe Bay chances are you’ll find you naturally have less people around you. Downtown Bandon has a small harbor and the little shack restaurants are sooo good, but small and people don’t social distance in a tiny restaurant.

If you cancel your cruise because you couldn’t get the time off of work or your dog got sick your insurance won’t cover that! But with these giant ships housing thousands of people in a contained space, all the news coverage of the cases of COVID-19 that swept the Diamond Princess and the ships that floated aimlessly at sea for weeks; the cruise has suffered a huge blow! The resort also has valet that will drop you off at A Bay beach (Anaeho’omalu Bay Beach) an amazing crescent shaped stretch of beach that offers tranquil waters, soft sand, shacks offering excursions and the Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant. For me, the big draws of this resort was the canal that encircles it, the resort offers gondola boats that take you around, the lagoon which I spoke of earlier, all the outside dining venues and giant waterfalls that I could swim under! The location, the appeal for families or visitors without kids, the sheer beauty and it’s proximity to other places make this property a worthy vacation spot. Great beaches, the mouth watering food, so many different terrains-which is one thing I love about the Big Island, but there are many islands to visit in Hawaii that can fit your vacation personality.

The cruise line industry came up with the brilliant idea of having their own private Bahamian Island to offers would-be cruisers something a little more exclusive. Whether  you dock or tender at one of the cruise lines private islands the food is included, sometimes your drink package-not with all cruise lines, so check the fine print, you key card works for purchases, hammocks, beach lounge chairs, local entertainment, waterparks, etc all included in the fare.
