This Barbie Is Going To The South Of France (Save For Your Next Trip) 🇫🇷During my month long stay in Paris, I took a 4 day trip to the South of France, but not where everyone else usually goes, I decided to visit the lavender fields in the Luberon region of Provence. 🚊When coming from Paris, make sure to use your @eurail pass AND reserve your seat, I made a big mistake and forgot to do this, and almost didnt make it to Avignon. You want to take the TGV train, its fast and has very minimal stops. If you cant get a seat on this train you'll have to take the local, its slow but will get you to where you need to be. 🚗 Then I picked up my rental car in Avignon using an app called @roadstr_ . I've never heard anyone mention this before so I thought I'd try it out, its just like TURO, and had a great selection of cars. If you're coming in on a Sunday, a lot of the traditional car companies are closed, so this might be a great option for you. ⛰️On the way to my b&b I stopped by two towns, Gordes & Rousillon, both known for their beauty, nature and aesthetic, everything I'm here for. 🏡 I spent 2 nights @villastmarc , you can see more of my experience on my page and under my "Paris" story highlight. Things You Should Know Before Visiting Paris (SAVE For Your Next Trip!) 🥖 You should learn a few words in French to help you get around. I recommend downloading Google Translate, and saving some key phrases offline for easy access. 🚨Stay alert when in public spaces, Paris is a major city and its important to stay safe! 🚍Use public transportation to get around by using the kiosks in the metro station. You can purchase a Navigo Pass for a few days using Apple Pay. 🥕Instead of heading to the grocery store for your staples, shop like a local! Get your produce at the local market, visit a boulangerie for your bread etc. ☀️ AC is not really a thing in Paris, so be prepared when visiting during the summer. If you’re staying for longer than a month with Blueground, they probably will give you a fan which is super helpful! I'm traveling to 6 Cities for 6 Months and Paris is my 5th stop.
