Hello Everyone! My name is Tammy and I am a travel blogger with a goal to share with my audience and beyond the ins-and-outs of a city as well as its hidden gems. At the same time, I am working on exploring the culture each place has to offer!
Right outside my hotel, was the Corniche Mosquée Hassan II, which is a boardwalk that will lead to the Hassan II Mosque. As your walk on Corniche Mosquée Hassan II concludes, you will be approached by the brilliant architectural piece, the Hassan II Mosque. I walked from Hassan II Mosque to the Old City District also known as the Old Medina via the route Google Maps gave could not have been more perfect in my book. I would definitely spend some time around the Old City District just to people watch and get lost in the old streets that date back to the pre-20th century.
I am pleased to say I am able to go on my first trip across the pond to Africa with Royal Air Maroc’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Royal Air Maroc offers an abundant amount of direct flights from North America to Casablanca from airports in Washington DC, New York, Boston, and more. Though I don’t know the exact measurements, it felt like the seat was able to lean back a good 7-10 centimetres. I have sat in last row seats before and I have never been able to put my seat back so this little detail made the 6+ hour flight very comfortable.
Trail 10 and 11 are located together right behind the centre with the trail starting by a lake and stretches to nearly 10km. I favoured Trail 10 over 11 since it is located by the river which makes it look for fairytale-like especially since it was foggy and rainy the day I went. Though Trail 11 was a beautiful scenic walk with the colourful autumn leaves, I found it too long a trail especially since I live in an area where I am constantly surrounded by trees. With a lack of a vehicle, the walk from Trail 10 and 11 to Lac Stanley took 1 hour and 24 mins with a distance of 7km.
On my way back home from Taipei, Taiwan, I got the chance to have a 10-hour layover in San Francisco, California. I arrived at the bridge around a little after 10 am and spent a little more time there than I planned to just soak in the view. Though I think it tasted no different than any other burger, it is always fun to eat something that you don’t get the chance to eat every day. On this trip, I learned that people in the West Coast seem a lot nicer and less uptight than the people over at the east coast.
