And just like that my year as a stay at home mom is coming to a close. 💗 I begin my 8th year of teaching tomorrow and while I’m excited I can’t help be a little sad as well. I’ve definitely cried my share of tears today. I am so grateful for this gift of time that I was given with Turner. It was so special to be there for his entire first year but I’m definitely ready to get back in a routine! I know it’ll be harder for me than it will be for him in all honesty. This time 🌟1🌟 year ago we had checked in for our induction knowing our lives were about to change forever! Here’s some things I would go back & tell myself before birth: 💫It’s normal to be anxious about delivery. The moment you walk into the hospital a peace will come over you and you’ll feel so safe! 💫Nurses are literal angels on earth. Don’t be afraid to let them know you’re nervous or uncomfortable. They truly made my experience the best! Thank you @christushealth 💫When you’re about to actually birth the baby no less than 20 people show up in your room to set everything up. Hope you aren’t shy! 💫You’ll be glad you packed a blanket because it’s freezing in the room. 💫No, shower shoes and your own towel aren’t ridiculous. You’ll take the best shower of your life and be glad you have them both. 💫Order ALL the food after birth. Preferably Chick-fil-A, all the sauces and a chocolate chip cookie. You deserve it, girl! 💫You’ll spend most of your time in the hospital staring into the crib they have the baby sleeping in. Literally just marveling at God’s creation.
