Hi! I'm Claire- a travel blogger with specific interests that include adventure travel, solo female travel, and healthy lifestyle tricks while traveling. I've been traveling for almost twenty years. If those two things don’t float your boat then I’d recommend skipping the extra 1-hour transport and staying in Cairns, where there’s more to do. If you are uncertified you’ll take a quick crash course prior to diving in, and you’ll be in small groups with your master diver who will keep an eye on you and not let you wander too far. it’s likely that you’ll only be able to participate in some of the dives (ie, if there are 3 dives scheduled that day, you might only be able to go on 2 dives If you’re interested in spotting the wildlife from a safe distance (there’s more things in Australia that can kill you than I’d like to think about) this sunrise cruise is a great chance to see the local species.
