One thing about Coloradans is that they LOVE their bicycles!! Whether it’s using the melted ski slopes in the summer to mountain bike downhill or riding in teams out on the road or simply biking with the family to the closest ice cream shop, this summer I can’t wait to see all the bikers out and about! It’s coming along! Day 2 working on my very first art commission - my biggest breakthrough today was figuring out how to get faint flowers painted to look like they’re in the distance. I’ll be adding more next go-round! 💡I love re-learning that all I have to do is get started. Any issues usually work themselves out as I go!

I’ve taken on my very first commission & here it is at the end of the first day working on it! 🎨 My client and I agreed on a subtle, ethereal flower-filled landscape painting with a glimpse of the Rocky Mountains in the distance. Sometimes it feels like my art has a mind of its own! So, laying down the first layer of paint is helping me find the direction it wants to go. The great thing I’m re-learning about paint is that so much can change! This may or may not end up looking like the final product. Hey! I’m Holly! You’ve probably seen me post some artwork on here lately & I wanted to explain a bit! Lots of you already know that I’ve loved creating art my entire life 😊 & I recently took an art class that sparked the desire in me to pursue my biggest dream of creating art for a living!✨ I’m currently working on “surface pattern designs” which are perfectly “repeating patterns” of artwork that go on things like wallpaper, wrapping paper, fabric, coffee mugs, bags, and more! I’ve got so many designs in my head and I can’t wait to share them all with you!
