Have you ever laughed so hard your face hurt?😂😝 Yah that was me for an entire week. And my knees hurt from dancing with @thequeenoftrips 👉🏽Scroll for some pics from my 10th cruise with @virginvoyages ▪️The weather at Bimini Bahamas was SO good and we danced in the pool during the Float On Party ▪️I tried a lot of new dishes on this sailing, a few faves were from Razzle Dazzle - beet pierogies, watermelon with frozen berries, salmon bowl and friiiiied chicken. No, I did not lose weight on this trip … ▪️We danced. We danced in The Manor Nightclub, at the pajama party under the stars, and we danced at zumba, at line dancing class and .. in the pool during the sail away party and at Scarlet Night. To say “my knees are giving me two middle fingers” is an understatement. A huge THANK YOU to SO MANY PEOPLE that came up to say hi to me. I appreciate you watching my youtube channel! N🚫PE! “Drone sensors and obstacle avoidance is ALWAYS on!” There are exceptions to this rule!! 1. Sport mode - but your drone will TELL YOU it’s off 2. QUICK SHOTS - many people don’t realize this Key tip: “run the quick shot” with finger over CANCEL. Will your DRONE 🪫 *ACTUALLY* tell you when it’s time to land?!? 
“LAND YOUR DRONE WHEN IT’S LOW ON BATTERY” It depends! Things people don’t realize - the drone battery is reading the conditions AND your flying speed - It’s not 100% accurate! - When doing things like hand catching your drone on a boat, give yourself WAY more time Always a good practice - When flying far, go against the wind first - Get your content that’s furthest away from you FIRST - Come back with at least 30% battery - Then finish your drone shots closest to you (until you hear that lovely beeping sound) 🤘🏽Get over 100 drone tutorial reels! 👀👀YOU SURE your RETURN TO HOME “signal lost” is the right height?! EEEEE! It depends on WHERE you are flying. Best practice: - Before you launch your drone, evaluate WHERE you are at. Is it a beach? A city? - Evaluate how tall things are around you - Set the correct auto RTH altitude Well, if I’m in uncontrolled airspace shouldn’t I just set it to 400’? Maybe. If it’s a VERY windy day, this can be risky! Or if you are LOW on battery, having your drone rise allllll the way to 400’ can take a very long time. “IT’S IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO CRASH YOUR DRONE” Or.. is it? 👀 I mean yes there is obstacle avoidance/sensors on most drones, but I generally fly with mine OFF. TIPS TO NOT CRASH YOUR DRONE ⁣ 1. LOOK BOTH WAYS⁣ ⁣ Sounds easy bc it is. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵.⁣ ⁣ We learn to do this when crossing the street, but for some reason, we stop when it comes to drones. Before you even LAUNCH your drone, make sure your area is clear. Look left and right and LOOK UP. I can’t tell you how many people tell me they launched straight into a tree 🤦🏻‍♀️⁣ ⁣ 2. MEASURE AND CLEAR⁣ ⁣ Want to know why I think flying drones is easier than driving cars? There is NOTHING to hit. But this is AFTER you’ve cleared things. Here’s how I do it:⁣ ⁣ a) launch drone DIRECTLY above you⁣ ⁣ b) using the left stick only to bring the drone up, start turning the left stick around to see what the HIGHEST thing is around you. This is the equivalent of doing a 𝘛𝘞𝘐𝘙𝘓 𝘐𝘕 𝘗𝘓𝘈𝘊𝘌 (without a dress)⁣ ⁣ Line up your drone with the highest thing around. By doing this you MEASURE IT. ⁣ Example: if the highest thing near you is a palm tree, then put the camera at the same height as the palm tree and NOTE how tall it is. Is it 38 feet? Awesome. Is it the highest thing around? Yes. ⁣ ⁣ Next.. ALWAYS keep your drone above 50 feet so you never hit anything. You are now in “your own lane” at a height that only a unicorn jumping out of a cloud can accidentally hit you.⁣ A full step by step tutorial of this is in my drone 101 course! “It’s too hard to fly a drone from a boat!” Or is it? 👀🚤 Like anything, it just takes practice. Consider starting small- practice flying off a dock or near a dock. 3 tips to NOT lose your drone from a boat 🛳🏴‍☠️ 1. Auto launch NEVER manual launch (i.e. push the sticks down and together to “start your drone” .. auto launch it instead and SEND IT (press up). This guarantees it doesn’t launch into the water (which sadly I’ve seen happen) 2. Turn off max distance When moving from point a to b, your drone might STOP if you have limited it’s distance 3. Update home point To you or have it be a nearby dock.
