I'm a full-time photographer and content creator splitting my time between NC and TX. I've had a blog since 2009 and have cultivated an engaged following, some of whom have been following me since I was in high school. (I'm in my mid-30s now!) I tried the sampler pack for my first time, and my favorite two dumplings are the pork and cabbage and egg and chive. I got to meet one of the owners and one thing that impressed me about their business is their willingness to uplift other small businesses through their platform! You can also order treats from all small businesses on their site. Right now they have baklava from @essentialtreatsnc! Some notes on delivery and how it works: Use code “LindaEats” for 15% off. Code good for the next two weeks! You can place your orders by Friday 9 pm on their website to make the Saturday delivery list. If you aren’t home, you can leave out a cooler with ice. An amazing new paleteria just opened in Smoky Hollow in Raleigh! At @paletasmorelia, you get to choose from a delectable selection of over 16 flavors of paletas made with natural ingredients, and you can either eat them as is, or get creative with dips, drizzles, and toppings! I’ve had so many paletas in my day but I’ve never had one wrapped in a fresh warm waffle before. What a fun treat! You might have seen it in my stories a few days ago but I really loved my lime sorbet paleta, drizzled in condense milk, and sprinkled with spicy sugar. Next time, I want to get a pistachio paleta dipped in dark chocolate and topped with pistachios. As someone who does countless long drives since college, I’ve always been a little nervous before each long drive. I was afraid to be an Asian female on my own while Anti-Asian hate crimes are on the rise. I felt my body tense every time I saw a confederate flag (three times) or a Trump sign (I lost count).
