We also learned that instead of chanting encore, people sing olé olé olé which is so much more fun! LISBOA BY ERA OF TAYLOR SWIFT 🫶🇵🇹 Last week, I visited some our must-see destinations for exploring Lisbon by Eras of Taylor Swift. 🖤 Up first, I checked out Praça do Rossio for one of our Reputation Era destinations. The calçada pattern reminds us of snakes with the contrasting colors and towering statue in the center of the square. This area is a hub in Lisboa for catching public transit and just taking a break while enjoying city life. ❤️ I quickly transitioned to my Red Era with the E28 tram that is a great way to see neighborhoods throughout the city. Unfortunately, I didn’t stop for a shot of Giginha (cherry liquor) from a street vendor this trip, but that’s another Red Era must for visiting Swifties! 🩷 This wasn’t on my original list, but I visited a friend in the beautiful neighborhood of Areeiro. The buildings are exactly the Lover Era color palette and I can’t wait to stay here in the future. It’s worth exploring for sure! 💛 Fearless took me to Praça do Comércio in the heart of Lisbon. The yellow faced building with intricate details makes this a must-see location for anyone visiting Lisbon! 🖤 Elevador de Santa Justa is a massive gothic style lift about 10 minutes walk from Praça do Comércio and another Reputation Era spot. This unique form of public transit connects the lower level of the city to the upper level (because, yes, Lisbon is that hilly)! 🩷 I couldn’t leave Lisboa without a Taylor Swift dance party, so fellow Swiftie, @giannadibono , and I made a stop at Associação IGLA, embracing our Lover Era 🌈 🇵🇹 The last two pictures share the cool views of my bus ride back home to Lagos with a wall feature of Azulejos against a historic bridge and the Cristo Rei Statute (inspired by Christ the Redeemer in Rio) that overlooks the city.
