Highlights
  • Arrange a Collection with Humor & Whimsy

Come along as I arrange my husband’s sweet collection of “Two Story Tudor” houses in a fresh fun way. You need to look at the best features of your home & the best features of your life and use those to their best advantage. Isn’t it just a bit fun to think of this collection of two story tudors living on the same display shelf with elephants and hula dolls? Alone, only the hula dolls, may be considered fun but the juxtaposition of the dolls, tudors and elephants- lol, do you “get” me?

  • Top 3 Tools to Visualize self life coach series vision boards, word map

According to research using brain imagery, visualization works because neurons in our brains, those electrically excitable cells that transmit information, interpret imagery as equivalent to a real-life action. — clusters of cells in our brain that work together to create memories or learned behaviors — that primes our body to act in a way consistent to what we imagined. Today there are all sorts of apps for vision boards and you can google things you are dreaming of and take a screen shot and place into photo collages to create a vision board. It is New Years Eve and we are at a really nice restaurant as a family and talking about all the adventures this year has held for us.

  • Plan Actions For Goals To Happen Self Life Coach Series Weekly Plan

You don’t need the entire goal list or dream’s worth of planned actions, just the next several. If you break your goal down into daily-doable nuggets, this is your to-do list for that goal or a “goal list.” For example, if it is a goal of mine to run a marathon in 2020 an action for that goal is to run 4 days a week for at least 5 miles a day Since I know if I don’t plan some social time into my calendar, I’ll break down and do something

  • Self Life Coach Recap awareness of your Needs, Values, Gifts, & Priorities

Look at what you have learned: Recap Let’s look at all you have learned about yourself through this Self Life Coach Series with a recap. Simply having these awarenesses of your Needs, Values, Gifts, & Priorities, could be all you need to step forward in the right direction. Self Life Coach If you are like me and you LOVE knocking something off your to-do list, you can call the Self Life Coach Series “ Look back at the Self Life Coach Series Self Life Coach Series #9:

  • Dreams & Goals self life coach series life order dream big gift you give yourself

Don’t confuse a dreams with a goals, goals will come at the end of this exercise, first just DREAM BIG! A few years in, my friend Leigh Ann said, “my home made her want to curl up and take a nap…” I say, that was confirmation that I attained this goal I have for our home. The next step is to take your chosen dreams and chuck them down into big goals (page 17.) I think a mistake many of us make when goal setting is that we don’t break down our goals into small pieces the size of “to-dos” or actions.

  • Roles & Responsibilities self life coach series areas of service

Turn to page 13 in your workbook and simply list your roles and/or obligations with any notes by each that apply such as a committee that meets twice a month or has a big gala in June, etc. These roles & responsibilities can fill your days and leave little room for the “big rocks” (your highest priorities.) Through this process of Self Life Coaching, I am hoping you can start to discern in what roles you might best focus your time and energies based on your values, priorities, or gifts & talents. Give some time, thought & prayer (or quiet time) to the roles you have control over and whether or not anything needs to come to an end.

  • Life Wheel life wheel rate areas of your life for balanced fulfillment

Basically it helps you look at different areas of your life and how you feel like those areas “are working for you. The exact 8 categories you pick for your life wheel is not as important as the fact you pick 8 totally different areas of your life to represent balance. If you don’t have our workbook, picture a circle and cut it in half, then quarters, then eighths- you will have a circle with 8 pie pieces like pictured above. I have been asked which areas to work on first- the higher scoring areas or the lower areas.

  • Two Story Tudor Self Life Coach Series

I’m going to go our on a limb with an exception, you could have a talent that didn’t come naturally to you After you come up with a few on your own (write on page 6 in your workbook) then refer to the list on page 7 in your workbook to come up with even more. If you are a little stuck, ask people you respect, they may bring up things you don’t Another way to recognize your gifts and talents is to actually compare yourself to the average people you know.

  • ORDER Your Top values, qualities needed for fulfillment

The coolest thing is about to happen… you are going to come up with answers to the next step that NO ONE ELSE EVER has come up with. 1- Write down what you value Breathe in, spend some quiet time with this one and don’t stress over it. Ok, in case you didn’t think of all the qualities you truly value, I’ll WITHOUT- decide which one or two are actually not just something you value but something you NEED to live.

  • Two Story Tudor jar of rocks, examples of priorities

Your priorities are the things you chose as most important in your life. You chose your priorities even if you don’t chose priorities because that is a choice too, lol. Then he added sand and it poured around the pebbles and the big rocks and the sand seeped into the nooks and crannies of the jar. Then the professor poured in a whole picture of water and it ran down in between the grains of sands, pebbles and rocks and filled every last bit of the jar.
