Guys… It’s actually been over a YEAR since I wrote a quick update and I think that is beyond insane. Just a small way to update you on how I’m doing if you want to know! Like I mentioned in my goal setting post, I know a new year doesn’t magically erase the past but the idea of ‘2021’ just makes me happy. I quit my job in Norman and got to spend all of winter break in Houston with my family and that time truly restored my soul!

She has a beautiful and airy feed and puts out great Youtube videos. She puts out the best outfit inspo videos on YouTube, making fashion easy for her followers. Nitsan makes incredibly genuine Youtube videos that have made me want to become best friends with this gal! She is an Instagram and Youtube queen based out of Austin and just launched an amazing hair accessories collaboration with Scunci!

Let’s just say, the city of New Orleans’ infrastructure is not the best and the people at Entergy are not well-liked. Of course, there is Mardi Gras day and we do celebrate then, but the celebrations start well over a month before with parades, costume parties and lots of king cake! For whatever reason, Bourbon Street, remains one of the first things that people think of when they come to New Orleans, but there is so much more to the city! From Mardi Gras to St. Patricks Day to festival and crawfish boil season, there’s always a reason to celebrate here.

After hearing about our shift in plans, my mom and I talked and decided to convert what was supposed to be a girls trip to a mother daughter to NYC! One of the ever-changing parts of our trip to New York was the government mandated precautions for COVID. When we went, only outdoor dining was allowed which made eating a little difficult in such extreme temperatures, but restaurants are making great efforts to keep their customers happy and warm!
