On this dayfour North Caolina Agricultural and Technical State University freshmen, David Richmond, Joseph McNeil, Ezell Blair Jr, and Franklin McCain took to the segregated department store, They did this for months until the store manager, Clarence Harris, realized that the store had lost $200,000 in revenue that it ultimately lead to the desegregation of the store. Thank you David Richmond, Ezell Blair Jr, Franklin McCain, and Joseph McNeil for your bravery and the path that you helped to create for today’s youth!
