    Upcycled: DIY Cane TV Console

I actually kept it like this for a whole year at my previous apartment, but once I moved into my new place and decided to revamp my style, I wanted to take it up a notch by completely transforming the cabinets. I took note of the height, width, and depth of the cabinets and searched for unfinished wood slabs of the same depth. Since I've never worked with wood and didn't have the right tools to properly cut them, I opted for some flimsy plywood from Home Depot. I'd like to note that the craftsmanship of this piece is a little rough because I've never worked with any type of wood, but once I learn more and have the right tools, I'll definitely redo this.

    Scandinavian Boho Apartment Tour (2020)

As you walk into the apartment, you're greeted by this wooden sign and these stunning creeping fig ficus plants on hanging shelves. My eyes instantly gravitated towards this dainty light wood end-table with cane webbing from HomeGoods. I'll most likely switch it out to a real plant eventually although it looks quite realistic and is the perfect size for a corner area. For the large space approaching the hallway, I was contemplating getting a wooden armchair, but I opted for a more affordable alternative and got this two-toned pouf/ottoman.

OUR SPANISH COURTYARD WEDDING IN SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO -

One of the main reasons we chose San Juan Capistrano for our wedding location is because we LOVED the idea of having wedding photos photos at the Mission! I bought a second dress online literally one week before the wedding as a back-up dress (anxiety level = 100000%) and I loved that second dress (which of course happened to be a fraction of the price) so much that I wore it for the entire reception! #1: Check out the “Love is in the Air” sign along with our seating chart.#2: Each table setting had the guest’s name along with a specific color for their meal choice (pink for steak, maroon for fish, white for vegetarian) on a custom wax seal. #2: Each table setting had the guest’s name along with a specific color for their meal choice (pink for steak, maroon for fish, white for vegetarian) on a custom wax seal.

20 TIPS FOR A HEALTHY MARRIAGE

’s been a whirlwind of God’s perfect timing and faithfulness. Marriage isn’t always easy but God has provided us with practical advice through His Word, which can be applied to our lives every single day. (Ephesians 4:2)Compliment your mate; build him/her up; look for good qualities and point them out as encouragement. (2 Timothy 2:14)Live each day for your mate expectantly looking to meet his/her needs, and meet them as unto the Lord.

    Birth Story (Zion Moon)

I called the online nurse and she had told me I was not in active labor and that they were just Braxton Hicks. I was getting really frustrated with her because I told her I already was dilated the previous week at 3 1/2 cm They were 3 minutes apart for a good hour to an hour and a half before my mom came. Once I got to the hospital, the doctor checked me and said she could feel his head (what I felt in the bath tub)

    Hospital Bag

went home to grab what I needed and there were a lot of things he didn't grab that I wish I had when giving birth, so I really didn't want that to happen again this time around. There are a few things I wouldn't have normally packed, but due to COVID-19, I just didn't want to use some of the hospital items that they provide, so I grabbed my own. * Going home outfit - I grabbed the Blanqi postpartum pants for when I go home as well as my maternity pants just in case on how big my belly still is. Normally people can bring you food and drinks but because of COVID-19, we aren't allowed visitors and not a lot of things are open and accessible so I highly recommend, especially during this time to pack snacks and drinks.

    Maternity Photo Shoot

I just found out this week that I will only be allowed one designated visitor during my hospital stay and Zara is not allowed at the hospital. You just never know who might potentially have it, but I am trying to just stay at peace, trust in the Lord and pray. In lighter news, we took these maternity photos a few weeks ago with the amazing Aly. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."Thank you so much for reading and stay safe everyone!Xo,

2020 Bullet Journal Setup + January Spread

I just decorated the spread with drop shadow boxes for every month and some washi tapes and vintage clock stamps. It ranges from "go to the gym at least 3 days a week" and "pay off all credit card debt by the end of the year," to writing daily affirmations and filling out a weekly gratitude log. I hope to fill these 4 pages with my top moments/memories with loved ones every month to add an even more personal and sentimental touch to this journal. My habits for this month include going to the gym, journaling, drinking at least 6 cups of water, reading, going on social media for more than an hour a day, getting at least 6 hours of sleep, and cleaning.

    NAPA VALLEY BACHELORETTE GUIDE

When I asked about their new goodies, specifically ones for winter / colder weather, I immediately fell in love with these matching “Bride” and “ Here’s the rundown of where exactly we went: Everyone flew into San Francisco (some girls flew in Thursday night and stayed at the Palace Hotel) and we all met up first thing Friday morning to take the party bus to our first stop: It’s a bit of a drive from where we stayed, but add a party limo + champagne + some good tunes = the drive goes by MUCH faster! The plan was to go out after dinner, but we couldn’t wait to get our pj’s back on (this is 30 lol…) and shower Bailey in all of her lingerie gifts!

Pregnancy Update (Finding out I have a Bicornuate Uterus)

A lot of you have asked me how my pregnancy has been going and how it’s been in comparison to Zara’s pregnancy. I had googled about bleeding and articles said it’s just your old blood leaving your body and that it’s perfectly okay up until 20 weeks of your pregnancy. ’s appointment, they had told me that they had found a synechiae in my uterus, which is a scar tissue going across my uterus. The baby doesn’t have much space like they normally would so they are curled up in a ball majority of the time and are so tight, that the baby believes that it’s time to come out.
