Yesterday officially marked 30 weeks! Pretty crazy that I’m well into the 3rd trimester and now that the weather is getting nice I know the next 2 1/2 months are going to fly by! I’ve been communicating with a lot of you through DM but it’s been a while since I’ve talked pregnancy on the BLOG so I thought I would share a 2nd trimester update tonight plus the most comfortable (non-maternity) basics from Z Supply including their extra length pocket tees (good for covering the butt and thighs) and this sweatshirt overall. Obsessed! This brand is newer to me as of this year but has quickly become my go-to source for soft everyday basics! I mentioned it on my Instagram but this pregnancy has been somewhat of an afterthought… I feel bad even saying it but it’s the truth

That said, I’ve went ahead and packed away all of the chunky knits but I’ve kept out the lighter cardigans & sweaters that will carry me through the unpredictable temps over the next month. I’m loving cardigans right now because they are bump friendly. HERE & HERE & this budget friendly striped knit.

April has always been the unofficial start of SPRING for me, the air feels & smells fresher, the temps are finally pleasant (even with the rain showers) and it signals summer is right around the corner All of these things are giving me an extra pep in my step this month (even with the big bump that has arrived at the start of the 3rd trimester which is really starting to weigh on me 😉 There’s a big FRIENDS & FAMILY SALE happening at SAKS FIFTH AVENUE right now. That said, I’ve gone ahead and tucked away all of my heavy duty turtleneck sweaters, over the knee boots & have left only pretty light-weight sweaters & ankle booties to pair with denim! Just an FYI this week marks my 3rd trimester and these images were taken during my first trimester (People have been asking me about my bump lol and I have actually only done one blog shoot since the announcement but I promise to share more current images soon) If I’m not in leggings, my everyday mom uniform usually consists of a cute sweater or top tucked in slightly to mid or high-rise denim (a la the above) and this look just is not possible when you are very pregnant. If you are on the prowl for a pair for yourself (the 3×1 denim I’m wearing is one of my all-time favorites and this pair gives off a 70s vibe that I love.
