He bravely fought for his life for 16 months while enduring painful surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, and music provided a great source of comfort during his many drives to doctor and therapy appointments.
On these car rides he listened to a wide variety of music via compilation CDs curated by the Texas Music Project (including such seminal artists as Spoon, George Strait, and Los Lonely Boys), and it gave him a great deal of vitality and chispa during this difficult time.
They knew of the positive, culturally-important work done by the Texas Music Project, and they generously decided to establish the Bryan Earle Fund in order to support TMP’s on-going projects.
Just as music was a tremendous force in Bryan’s life, his family hopes that their contributions will also help others find peace and comfort through music during their own difficult times.
