I could go on and on about what’s been happening but instead..here’s a quick recap: March: It was so amazing to have my entire family in town and it was the first time anyone in the family got to celebrate their birthday with the entire full family together in like over 10 years.. But honestly, it’s not even that bad: I work 3 days a week at a friend’s design agency helping out on a couple of projects. September is going to be another month of celebration with Sha’s birthday and Max’s 100 day celebration

We like to always champion anything cool our friends are doing especially when it comes to something as major as a new store opening, support is always the best thing. Jason’s good friends back in Shanghai run a really good local streetwear brand and boutique called DOE. The store is designed by Japanese architect Shuhei Aoyama and has this really cool side panel that can open up to reveal the inside (see left pic below). Oh also my friend Ton who is an amazing illustrator called Flabjacks recently launched a fun line of Mao t-shirts with DOE!

I’ve already failed in keeping up with the #WHATSGOOD timelines (this second post is already a month late) and here I am again making up an excuse for late posts (there is a LOT going on in the real life Lam household right now) and making empty promises (I swear I’ll be more on time next month). Ever since I’ve switched over to these lighter metal frame Sunnies glasses, I’ve been going for a more “lighter” look: giving my iconic cat-eye heavy eyeliner a break and opting for an eye-opening mascara look instead. I didn’t realize that this park is HUGE and there are so many side paths to walk along, like the canopy covered lanes and the open fields. it’s like WHAT’S THE POINT It’s getting very long now..am thinking what should I do to it next..after just curling it into a poof 6 months ago I have such an extensive sunglasses collection..but am too lazy to wear contacts so thinking if I should bite the bullet and totally invest in changing all my sunglasses lenses to prescription
