I absolutely adored both The Darker Shades of Magic trilogy and City of Ghosts, and I have the Monsters of Verity duology on my immediate tbr, now knocked out of first place by the gorgeous hardbacks of Vicious and Vengeful! One of my FAVOURITE items in this box is this gorgeous pouch designed by @stellabookishart that I’m going to be using as my make-up bag for my next trip! It’s scented, it’s layered, it’s full-size, it will be added to my Schwab shrine and CAN NEVER BE BURNT. *swoons* If you got one of these gorgeous boxes too, don’t forget to enter the Instagram photo challenge for a chance to win Illumicrate boxes!
Pro tip: This also works well with blankets and scarves, once they’re folded, you can’t really tell the difference, so use whatever you already have! I like to take photos when the lighting is darker and cosier and use candles and fairy lights to add that cosy glow! In this photo, I’ve sat it next to a book with a shiny, metallic foil finish, just at the right angle to make the book glow softly! Pro tip: This one works especially well if you’re taking a photo of an item from a subscription box, or a candle!
An exclusive by @elvenwickcandles, this Perfect Heist candle smells so good and I’m excited to light it the next time I want to do some hardcore scheming. Exclusively designed by @reverieandink, this Easiest Lies mirror is the perfect size to pop into your bag and is making me want to read alllll the Holly Black! I also looooved this cute little necklace! I always love getting some artwork in a box and this exclusive from @jamilamehio is the perfect complement to this quarter’s featured book! If you got this box, too, don’t forget to join in with the Illumicrate photo challenge over on Instagram!
Mom doesn’t like it when I sleep down here, but sometimes I work until my eyes droop and there’s no way I can make it to the elevator without nodding off. You can find anything on the Moncha-cloud, but most people don’t mess with their bakus as Moncha approved vets will only work on bakus that haven’t had any unauthorized repairs. The work takes my mind off Profectus, and it takes me a good hour to get Linus’s tail straightened out, manipulating the metal back into shape with the help of a heated clamp and the soldering iron. I can’t check the movement or camera until he’s charged, so I leash him to the mains using an old cable of Petal’s.
