In Fayetteville and Bentonville you’ll find a number of terrific restaurants as well, most of the time with quaint ambiance or eclectic decor, but in Springdale, you’ll find a TON of variety in cuisine and delicious food too.
The Best Restaurants in Northwest Arkansas Located on the historic downtown Fayetteville Square, West Mountain Brewing Co. is Northwest Arkansas’ oldest brewery. JJ’s Beer Garden & Brewery is Northwest Arkansas’ best beer garden. Rendezvous Junction Brewing Co. was started by Mike Peerson, who after moving from Seattle, a craft beer haven, found that Arkansas was in need of craft breweries so he decided to start his own with Levi, a friend of his who was also a beer fanatic. The Best Breweries in Eureka Springs Eureka Springs Brewing Co. has small-batch beers, wines, and ciders available in their beer garden where you can also enjoy the outdoors and games like disc golf.
Fayetteville, Arkansas is where the University of Arkansas is located and while when college is in session you’ll find the area more crowded with students and Arkansas fans calling the Hogs, there is so much more to do here than visit the campus. Visiting St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable will immediately make you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale or The Secret Garden which makes this one of the unique things to do in northwest Arkansas. I’ve mentioned Stone Mill Bread Co. in a number of my other Northwest Arkansas posts because, in my opinion, it’s one of the best places for a quick lunch. Wright’s Barbecue is another restaurant in Northwest Arkansas that I’ve mentioned a few times because it’s soooo good.
Unique Places to Stay in Arkansas Things to Do in Bentonville, Arkansas Because Walmart Headquarters are located in Bentonville, Walmart and the Walton Family Foundation (the family who owns Walmart) pour a lot of money and resources into the community making a lot of unique spaces to enjoy. In the outdoor art spaces you can find various art sculptures on the walking and bike trails but there are also a number of rotating art exhibits outside too. 21c Museum is a boutique hotel that has a chef-driven restaurant, The Hive, a full-service bar with specialty cocktails and mocktails, and a free contemporary art museum that is open to the public, not just hotel guests! This chef-driven restaurant is located inside the 21c Museum Hotel Bentonville and features many Southern cooking menu items prepared with local ingredients.
