The Imperfectionist

Maybe it’s because summer is my favorite season, but the days feel like they just keep getting better and better. Which might make this next part come as a slight surprise, but I’ve got to let blogging take a back seat for a little while. I’ve got some really exciting things in the works regarding my career, and I’ve had to devote my full attention to them. There’s still work to be done, so I’m asking you to please be patient and bear with me while I give these things the focus they need.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday with some close friends at the lake and it was THE BEST. So today I’m sharing some of my favorite storage items that double as great decor! Perfect for stashing things you don’t want to see – like hair ties and dental floss – or equally perfect for displaying things like bars of soap or cotton balls. Throw everything from towels to face wash to extra toilet paper into a stylish bin! I love using recessed medicine cabinet to steal storage from inside your walls.

I’m one of those people who really really wishes they frequented farmer’s markets. , I’m totally going to the farmer’s market today! Nevermind, I’ll opt for an eggplant (though what I’m gong to do with said eggplant is beyond me since I’m not the chef in our house). Instead I’m stuck standing there with the world’s most deformed eggplant in hand that I paid $8 for.
