The Petite Retreats campsite I stayed in is called Sunshine Key Tiny House Village, and is located approximately 120 miles from the Miami Airport (about a 2.5-hour drive) and just 30-miles from Key West. This Florida Keys beach camping site is in an ideal location making it the perfect base for exploring all the Keys has to offer, as it’s minutes away from top attractions such as Bahai Honda State Park. Located on the 75-acre Ohio Key, the Sunshine Key RV Resort and Marina where the Tiny House Village resides, is presented by Encore RV Resorts and Thousand Trails campgrounds, with more than 280 locations across North America. At these Petite Retreats RV campgrounds on the beach in Florida, several amenities are available for your enjoyment, including a swimming pool, tennis, basketball, and beach volleyball courts, a game room, playground, yoga and other activities, a seassonal restaurant and bar, beach, and pier to snorkel, kayak, and swim from.

Just a 45-minute drive from the international airport on the main Fiji Island of Viti Levu elegantly sits as if it were levitating on the jewel-toned lagoon, Fiji Marriott Momi Bay Resort. With its authentically-designed architecture emulating the natural cambers of the indigenously-owned land on which it’s built, the resort offers an assortment of room types (called bures in Fiji) ranging from family-friendly beachfront, lagoon view, or poolside huts, to 22 adults-only overwater villas. Fiji Marriott is the only overwater resort to offer not only an infinity pool, but an additional pool with a swim-up bar to imbibe on tropical cocktails that embody what it means to be on a quintessential island vacation. What makes Fiji Marriott most remarkable, however, is not the tailored offerings, ideal location in an unmatched setting, or the dreamy and opulent overwater bures, but the warm and welcoming staff of local villagers who never miss an opportunity to exclaim the island salutation, “bula!” as they zip by on golf carts cheerfully driving guests from one area of the resort to the next.

Amenities at Nobu include 4 pools (one of which is an infinity pool overlooking the beach); 3 restaurants plus additional pool and beach bars; and a tranquil spa and wellness/fitness center. My private pool room at Solaz had an ocean view (which could be seen partially obstructed and from a distance) but was much more private than the ocean-view rooms at Nobu, that were closer to the beach. Because the private pool was smaller, I spent a lot more time at the hotel infinity pool, especially because the views could not be beat. If you don’t care for a private pool but are looking for an ultra-chic and luxurious Cabo experience in an intimate and unique boutique hotel (or private villa!)

The East Side is especially known for having great street tacos, and some of the best can be found only in the evening at the Taco Zone truck (veggie friendly), or at the original Guisados taco shop which is known for having some of the best tacos in Los Angeles. Best restaurants in Hollywood: Mozza for some of the best pizza in LA, Catch for a super trendy vibe, Gracias Madre for vegan Mexican with a cool atmosphere and great margaritas, or Crossroads Kitchen for vegan upscale Cali-terranean.
